Premier Power and Precise Handling
The A5 has three available body styles: a 2-door Coupe, a 2-door Convertible Cabriolet, and a 4-door Sportback. The Coupe and the Cabriolet come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces up to 261 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque right out of the gate. The Sportback’s base 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine puts out 201 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. It also offers an available engine that matches the output of the Coupe and the Cabriolet.
All engines are paired with a smooth-shifting 7-speed S tronic® automatic transmission. Each model also has standard quattro® all-wheel drive with ultra® technology that constantly optimizes acceleration and handling to offer an enhanced driving feel.
INTERIOR
Space for Your Crew and Your Cargo
The A5 seats five people in the Sportback model and four in the Coupe and Cabriolet models. The front seats are supportive and offer plenty of long-distance comforts. Passengers will enjoy plenty of headroom and legroom in both the front and the back rows regardless of the model.
Several features come standard to improve the already well-appointed interior, including a panoramic sunroof, 3-zone automatic climate control, and an acoustic power-folding soft top for Cabriolet models.
With the Coupe, the trunk can accommodate up to 10.9 cubic feet of cargo. With the Cabriolet, the trunk can accommodate up to 9.3 cubic feet. Sportback models are the roomiest of the lineup, offering 21.8 cubic feet of space.
TECHNOLOGY

Advanced safety systems come standard with the A5, including Audi active lane assist, a feature that can provide steering guidance to stay within your lane. The A5 also includes Audi pre sense® city, which alerts you to potential collisions and can automatically apply the brakes at speeds of less than 52 MPH. If necessary, it can also tighten safety belts and close the front side windows and sunroof.
The A5 comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen and the MMI® infotainment system, which boasts easy-to-navigate menu options, crisp graphics, and an intuitive interface. You’ll also get a 10-speaker audio system and Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® smartphone compatibility, so you can play music and access apps on the go.
Several advanced features are also available, including a 19-speaker premium Bang & Olufsen® sound system with 3D sound.
